Dr. T. M. Walters

Hi I’m Dr. T. M. Walters
My greatest desire is to help people who want healthier relationships understand and apply God’s original relational design so they can flourish in their relationship with God, themselves, and others. And enjoy a rich, vibrant, and satisfying life,

JUST LIKE GOD INTENDED!

As a wife, mother, grandmother, psychotherapist, educator, and follower of Christ with over 30 years of professional, clinical, and lived experience in relational health, healing, and wholeness, I know how hard it can be to begin the journey to wholeness. But I also know the joys of doing the work.

It is possible to live life as a happy, healthy, and whole individual, regardless of where you started or how difficult your life has been.
If you don’t remember anything else about what you read on this website, please remember this one fundamental element that drives everything I do, and everything I believe in. There is Hope. Happiness, Health, and Wholeness are Possible.

No matter how dark it may seem, how alone you might feel, or how far you think you have fallen, real, transformative, restorative, and life-affirming change and peace are possible for you! A good life is waiting for you, and I would love to help you discover it.

My Story

It’s hard to remember exactly when I first held a pencil in my hand and tentatively committed my thoughts and feelings to paper. Old enough to have a knowledge of literacy, and young enough to struggle with expressing, through words, feelings that were difficult to define.

Having grown up in a problematic and routinely volatile home, the ability to express myself through the written word became a vital part of my survival strategy and a skill set that has served me well my entire life. Writing has allowed me to review, define, and clarify my beliefs, perceptions, and the life principles that guide me. Writing has helped me express what often feels inexpressible and manage the unmanageable.

It helps me express joy, sadness, confusion, and humor, and has, over time, become a vehicle for sharing with others the lessons I have learned and, most importantly, my faith and the ever-amazing attributes of our loving and kind Heavenly Father

I hope that as you read my books, articles, poems, and other works, you will be able to recognize the grace and mercy of God and embrace His willingness to do for you what He has done and continues to do in my life and in the lives of all who call Him Lord and Savior.

You will find many of my writing topics to be thought-provoking, honest, and sometimes very personal. I hope that by sharing my experiences, you will find hope, comfort, encouragement, and a kindred spirit ready to walk alongside you as you find your way to peace and safety.

God Bless, and thank you for visiting. I hope you find words here that challenge, comfort, and, most of all, provide hope.
